Want to enjoy a host of benefits at Australian Open 2015 that are the stuff of tennis fans’ dreams?
Then sign up as an Australian Open member!
You’ll gain access to premium Australian Open tickets before they go on sale to the general public – plus access to tickets ballots for other Grand Slam events – as well as many other perks, all enhancing your experience at one of the world’s biggest sporting and entertainment events.
Plus, you’ll be the very first spectators to enjoy exclusive access to reserved seats on the stunning new Margaret Court Arena, complete with a retractable roof and 1,500 extra seats for the 2015 tournament.
Australian Open Membership is available in three categories – Game, Set and Match.
Game, at $99 for individuals and $199 for families, represents the entry level of membership. It offers:
- pre-sale access to Australian Open, AO Series, Davis Cup and Fed Cup tickets, plus complementary ground passes
- “Game Set Match” member lounge access during the tournament
- the chance to enter the French Open, Wimbledon and US Open ticket ballots
- invitation to Australian Open Members night on the first Monday of the tournament
- an Australian Open program and subscription to the Australian Open monthly e-news
- discounts on Melbourne Park court hire and Australian Open and Lacoste merchandise
- access to exclusive members-only competitions and promotions
The Set category offers all these benefits, plus an exclusive ticket-booking period and guaranteed access to Final Five session tickets (which includes the women’s semifinals, each men’s semifinal, the women’s final and the men’s final).
There is currently a waiting list for Match category membership, which you can become eligible for; these members enjoy all the perks of Set membership, as well as guaranteed access to lower-level seating at Rod Laver Arena for Final Five sessions.
"Australian Open members love being first in and having their own lounge that overlooks Grand Slam Oval. The lounge provides them with their own source of food and beverage while being a place where they can interact with other members," says Frances Travers, head of ticketing, membership and premium ticketing.
"They love Members night, the first night of the tournament where they can get their photos taken with the trophies along with hearing from international greats such as Martina Navratilova, Jim Courier and Pat Rafter."
Adding flexibility to Australian Open membership is the option to purchase Junior membership for persons under 16 years, or Youth membership for 16 to 21 year olds; both of these categories will be linked to a family membership package. You can also opt for a multi-year membership lasting either two or three years.
There’s also a “gap-year” membership, meaning that even if you miss coming to Melbourne Park one year, you can retain your membership for a smaller fee and keep up to date with all that’s happening at the Australian Open.
